The transport ecosystem strongly believes in the contributions of quantum computing to the next optimization opportunities. TrackM8 PLC, a company based in Birmingham, is a partner of HWU (Herriot Watt University) to develop the first services that will exploit quantum computing in the fields of logistics and telematics. They are looking for an academic, for a three-year contract, who will be in charge of developing these new software. In these three years period, TrackM8 hopes to be able to move from identifying needs to release a first prototype.
