For the military, the line between reality and science fiction is sometimes thin. Especially since science fiction becomes reality after a few years. As the latest update of the Abrams tank has just been delivered, military experts are imagining the future : "Technology enthusiasts, including many in the Army's new Futures Command, wax eloquently about the potential for hover tanks that shoot laser beams and are autonomously guided by artificial intelligence housed in quantum computers". Quantum" is really in fashion!

On the Australian side, the government is also concerned about quantum computing, but with the progress of its Chinese neighbour. The balance of the Asia-Pacific region is articulated around the China-Australia axis. "Si vis pacem, para bellum", would have written Végèce. The Australian government is concerned with drones, exoskeletons, quantum sensors, autonomous vehicles, 3D printing and... quantum computing. And the Victorian state government has an important role to play in the development of these technologies.

Scientists from India are recognized around the world, particularly in the United States. This is highlighted by Fair Observer magazine, which underlines the work of several of them, all under 35 years old. Among them, Abhinav Kandala, a quantum computing specialist working at IBM Research, explains that one of the "killer apps" of quantum computing could be the modeling of molecules in the field of chemistry, a sector that already uses high-performance computing resources.
