Internships, RA, and RF positions in the interface of quantum algorithms, quantum simulation and machine learning in Angelakis Group at CQT Singapore (www.quantumlah.org)

We are looking for excellent and highly motivated students or graduates of Physics, Maths, Enginnering or CS schools, with strong analytical skills, and passion in learning to to join our team.

The groups performs research in quantum physics and quantum computation and simulation with near term quantum computers. Areas of current interest include digital and analog quantum computing and simulation, quantum machine learning, and applications of quantum computing in data science, optimization, chemistry, and finance problems (among other areas).

We provide an excellent and motivating working environment with a strong team spirit. The group has ongoing collaborations with leading quantum hardware groups worldwide, other theory academic groups, as well as the industry sector.

For the RA and intern positions, experience in software engineering and algorithm development as well as programming with Python and/or C++ is essential. Knowledge of aspects machine learning will be helpful.

For the RF positions, a PhD in the field of quantum computing or machine learning with experience in algorithm development as well as a strong publication record is essential. Length of appointment up to five years, annually renewable. Senior appointments are possible too.

Excellent interns and RAs can be considered for potential follow up PhD positions.
