Your press review from Quantaneo

Quantum computing will experience its transition to adolescence in the coming years. A difficult time just like in real life. Today, at the heart of research laboratories, we are talking about hard science, very technical subjects that delight PhDs. But tomorrow, it will be about business, about "selling"! What a horrible word! But it is through the sale of solutions that quantum computing will become adult. And to facilitate this transition, research laboratories must be brought closer to companies and their needs, as soon as possible. India invests heavily in quantum computing research, but the government has realized that this cannot be done without business. It will open fifteen centres dedicated to bringing together the research and professional communities. The “Sophisticated Analytical & Technical Help Institutes” (SATHIs) will be the bridge between laboratories and the market.

In Europe, there is also talk of sovereignty, in an article by Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl, Managing Director of DIGITALEUROPE. "It must be our top priority if we are to protect Europe’s future," she explains. And according to her, this sovereignty must be achieved through the mastery of technologies such as quantum computing, blockchain, AI, and algorithms.

The journal "Chemical Reviews" has just published a feature article, "Quantum Chemistry in the Age of Quantum Computing ". This article provides an overview of quantum algorithms and the results they provide in the field of quantum chemistry.

The US Air Force continues to fund research programs, including for SMEs. These three-phase programs begin with the funding of a study, and the government's contribution of USD 50,000, to demonstrate the feasibility and interest of the proposed topic. Quantum computing is obviously one of the ten technologies targeted by these programs.
